Choose a plan and restore purchases
There are two plans, Essential and Pro, billed yearly or monthly. The 14-day free trial gives you Pro, then becomes your chosen plan unless you cancel. See or change your plan in Settings then Account under “Subscription”. On a new Mac or after reinstalling, press “Restore purchases” there.
Essential and Pro
Both plans include Voice Dictation, Meeting Notes, Create Video, the To-Do List, AI Chat and Teams. Pro adds unlimited meeting hours, unlimited Ask across meetings, Recap, Claude Opus and Fable in AI Chat, and “Incoming”: to-dos other tools send to your list.

The trial, and when it ends
It includes everything in Pro, with 10 hours of meeting notes, and starts inside the app when you download SwitchDesk.
After 14 days the trial becomes your chosen plan, unless you cancel before then. To cancel, open Settings then Account, find the “Subscription” card and press “Manage subscription”.
If you cancel:
- Your to-do list and sync keep working.
- Notes and videos stay readable and exportable.
- Share links stay live for 90 days, then pause.
- Cloud data is kept for 12 months.
If you go over your hours
Essential includes 25 hours of meeting notes a month; Pro has no cap. Go over your hours on Essential and recording never stops. Notes for the extra calls are made when your hours reset, or when you upgrade to Pro.
See or change your plan
Open Settings → Account
Scroll to the “Subscription” card. It shows your plan and when it renews.
View or manage
Before you subscribe, the button reads “View plans”. Once you have, it reads “Manage subscription”.
Restore purchases
Use this on a new Mac, after reinstalling, or if SwitchDesk doesn’t show the plan you paid for.
Open Settings → Account
Find the “Subscription” card.
Press “Restore purchases”
SwitchDesk checks your purchase and switches your plan back on.
