A support form sends one request to the SwitchDesk to-do API with a masked sdk_ key. It answers 201 Created, and “Call Marlow & Finch back about the renewal” appears at the top of the Incoming section, labeled “from Support form” with a Fernhill chip.

Answer four questions, all optional.

Where its to-dos go, what they say they’re from, whether it might send one twice, and whether it hears back when you finish one.

Four quick questions, all optional. Your answers are saved to this key and rewrite its documentation below. Question 4 also switches on calls from SwitchDesk to the tool.

1Where should new to-dos go?

Each one arrives tagged “Fernhill”. File it there in one click, or send it to Today and it keeps the tag.

from Support form
  • Your answers are the defaults. A request that doesn’t say where it goes or where it’s from lands in Incoming, tagged Fernhill, “from Support form”.
  • Your tool can mark it done. One request sets it started or done, and never moves, renames or re-files it.
  • Today stays yours. No request can put a to-do in “Today’s Todo” or This Week; ☀ Today moves it in one press.

Send meetings out

Plan: Meeting exports, Pro

Review a Fernhill call’s notes, then send them to your CRM.

“Send a copy of future calls in a category to a webhook — Zapier, Make, n8n, or your own server. Calls stay on this Mac; only what you pick is sent, and only calls that start after you set it up.”

Integration questions

More in Help →
Can ChatGPT, Claude or Grok work with my list?
Yes, through AI Access, which is separate from the to-do API: an AI app can read your whole list and change it with the permissions you choose. How AI Access works →
Do I need to write code?
No. Answer four questions when you make a key, then hand its Docs tab to your developer or an LLM. Siri and Copy for Slack need no key.
Is there a Zapier app?
No. Add a webhook step in Zapier, Make or n8n that posts to the to-do API with your key; the key’s Docs tab says exactly what to send. For meetings, paste the step’s address into Settings → Meeting exports.
Can a tool put a to-do straight into Today?
No. “Today’s Todo” and This Week are yours to fill by hand. A request that names either one lands in Incoming instead, and the response carries a warning.
Is there a HubSpot or Salesforce integration?
Not today. Send calls to a webhook, and a Zapier, Make or n8n step can post them to your CRM.
Do teammates see my webhook address or secret?
No. Both stay with the export on SwitchDesk’s server, which signs and relays each delivery. Each teammate reviews their own calls on their Mac first.
Will an export send my old calls?
No. Only calls that start after you save the export are sent, and changing its category starts over from that moment. While exports are paused, new calls are never sent.
Should my server check the signature?
Yes. Check every call with a Standard Webhooks library. If a no-code tool can’t, its webhook URL is the secret: keep it private.

Send to-dos in from the tools you already use.
