How to give Grok access to your calls
Grok can’t join your calls or hear them. SwitchDesk records them on your Mac, with no bot in the meeting, and writes the notes when each call ends. Add SwitchDesk as a custom connector on grok.com, and Grok can answer from every call you share.
- No bot in your call

Who asked for the security questionnaire, and on which call?

Joe Raman asked for it on the Lumora intro call. You said you’d send it after the call…
Why give Grok your calls
Grok is quick in a chat. With your calls connected, the quick questions get real answers: who asked for what, what was agreed, what you still owe someone.
What to ask Grok
“What did we agree in today’s standup?”
ReadsReads today’s call and lists the decisions.
“Who asked for the security questionnaire, and on which call?”
ReadsSearches your calls and names the call it found.
“Sum up my calls this week in five lines.”
ReadsReads this week’s calls and answers in the chat.
“Which calls this month mentioned the pilot?”
ReadsSearches titles and notes, and transcripts if you allow it.
“Put the follow-ups from my last call on today’s list.”
ChangesAdds them to Today, or sends them as one card for you to approve.

Ask about a call
Start with something you can check, like “What did we agree in today’s standup?”
Want Grok to go through your calls on a schedule, without a chat open? That’s Grok Bot: give Grok Bot access to your calls.
Want exact words? Tick “Include full transcripts” in the same place. SwitchDesk warns: “Other people’s exact words.” Then give Grok Full control, or switch Transcripts on in Fine-tune. Summaries, action items and your own notes don’t need it.
What Grok can and can’t see
| From your calls | Grok |
|---|---|
| Summaries and action items | Yes, once you share your calls |
| Your own notes from the call | Yes |
| Search across every shared call | Yes |
| Full transcripts | Only with “Include full transcripts” and Full control |
| The audio | Never |
| Calls marked “Never share this call” | Never |
| Editing or deleting your notes | Never |
Every call Grok makes shows up in Activity on your Mac. Revoke ends the connection at once.
Which calls work
Any call whose audio plays through your Mac: Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, in the browser or the app. SwitchDesk records your voice and theirs on separate tracks, so there’s no bot in the participant list. On Google Meet in Chrome, it also names who said what. How SwitchDesk records calls.
